University Recreation offers a swimming class for everyone! Beginning on January 29, a wide variety of Masters, Adult and Youth swimming classes will kick off as part of Fitness Session I.
Masters Swim is a structured swim workout with coaches that help you personalize your time in order to help you meet your fitness goals. The class is designed for those wanting to cross-train for fitness, improve their swimming technique, or train for a triathlon or other swimming event.
Adult swimming will teach adults to float, submerge completely and propel themselves through the water. Adult swimming is primarily designed to prepare participants not only to experience swimming, but to safely participate in various recreational water activities.
University Recreation’s Youth Swimming Program follows the American Red Cross Learn-to-Swim curriculum for children ages 6 years and up.
All swimming classes are offered at different times and days of the week to accommodate your schedule. Registration through the Student Recreation Center is now open and prices vary based on the session. For more information, please visit http://urec.wsu.edu/aquatics.aspx.
