PULLMAN, Wash. With widespread flu activity reported in 41 states, Health and Wellness Services (HWS) has put new information online reminding the Washington State University community to get vaccinated, practice good health habits and spread the word about precautions.
The vaccine is available to WSU students at HWS for $25. Faculty and staff are encouraged to see their health care providers for the vaccine; many local pharmacies also will provide it.
To help increase flu and vaccine awareness, flyers from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC) can be printed and posted in WSU offices. A Happy New Year/fight the flu e-card greeting also can be sent.
