Learn how to respond to a vast array of emergency situations in the Lifeguard Training Course. This class focuses on teaching preventative and responsive skills based in an aquatic environment. Completion of the course will include certifications in CPR for the Professional Rescuer, First Aid, AED, Oxygen Administration, and Blood borne Pathogens.
The Lifeguard Training Course will be held at Gibb Pool and runs from Oct. 19 to Oct. 28, Friday, 6 to 9 p.m., and Saturday/Sunday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Some basic swimming prerequisites are required such as swimming 300 yards and treading water.
