President’s Commission on the Status of Women Seeking 2012-2013 Membership

The WSU President’s Commission on the Status of Women is now seeking applications for new members to fill four voting member positions still open for the 2012-2013 academic year. The Commission encourages women and men who are interested in working toward creating a better working and academic environment for everyone across the WSU system to apply for voting membership.

The open positions are for:

– A voting member from the WSU Spokane campus.
The position is open to faculty, administrative professional, or classified employees, and undergraduate or graduate students.

– A voting member from the classified employee category (civil service or collective bargaining unit employees).
This position is open to classified employees from all WSU locations.

– Two undergraduate student voting members.
These positions are open to undergraduate students from all WSU locations.

Employee members (faculty and staff) are elected for two-year terms and students are elected for one-year terms.
