Coming Soon: 2013 Open Enrollment – The Time to Make Changes to your Health Coverage

The Open Enrollment period for 2013 begins Nov. 1 and will run through Nov. 30. This is the one time each year when you can make changes to your medical and/or dental plans or add eligible family members to your coverage. This is also the time to enroll/re-enroll in the Flexible Spending Account (FSA) and/or Dependent Care Assistance Program (DCAP). Enrollment changes become effective Jan. 1, 2013.

If you do not want to make a 2013 change in Medical/Dental plans, you don’t need to do anything, and your current plan will continue. If you wish to continue your FSA or DCAP, you will need to re-enroll.

2013 plan year changes include: premium changes and some changes to coverage. For more information regarding these changes, visit the HRS Open Enrollment website at www.hrs.wsu.edu/Open+Enrollment+2013.

The WSU Benefits Fair for the Pullman campus is scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 7. It will be held at the WSU CUB Junior Ballroom from noon to 4 p.m. The Open Enrollment website also provides information regarding other statewide Benefit Fairs, as well as a link to the HRS online Informational Session.
