WSU will upgrade its ANGEL Learning management system from version 7.4 to version 8.0 on July 6. During the upgrade maintenance period, the system will be unavailable from 3 to 11 a.m. that day.
New features and improvements in this upgrade include:
Safari and Chrome browsers will now be supported.
Assessments will now have an extra navigation window available for students, where they can review their choices at a glance and jump to a question, if they want to go back and change the answer.
Rubrics are now more integrated with discussion forums.
Added dates to drop box, so that the content can be viewed when the drop box is not yet opened up for submissions.
Instructors can more easily copy and thereby configure their gradebook settings from a previous semester to a new semester course.
Angel zip files now recognize and extract new file formats previously unrecognized, such as flash files and open office files.
