Outdoor Emergency Care Course

The Outdoor Recreation Center in conjunction with the National Ski Patrol is offering a 12 week course in Outdoor Emergency Care. Successful completion of the course will result in Outdoor Emergency Care Technician certification; equivalent to EMT-B level of training.

This course is not only for anyone who might be interested in becoming a ski/snowboard patroller, but is for anyone who desires to have advanced first aid training for the outdoor environment (e.g. outdoor guides/leaders, recreational backcountry participants; mountain bikers, backcountry skiers/boarders, kayakers, rafters, backpackers, etc.)
