The WSU community is very welcome to attend the 8th Annual International Scholar Recognition Reception today (Thursday, April 12th) at 3:30p.m. in the Honors Hall Lounge. The event is held annually to recognize the contributions of international scholars at WSU. Refreshments will be served; harpist Daniella Clark will perform.Certificates of appreciation will be given to departing exchange scholars in attendance.
Guest speaker, Dr. Guy Palmer, Regents Professor and Director of WSU Global Animal Health, will offer remarks about the importance of international engagement.
Also, the Robert C. Bates Award (named for WSU emeritus provost) will be presented by Dr. Bates to Jessica Cassleman, assistant dean of the WSU Honors College, for her contributions to Global Engagement.
