The faculty and students of the Greater Columbia Plateau Initiative Seminar (GCPIS) cordially invite you to the opening reception of our exhibit, “Vineland: Shaping Paradise. The Lewiston-Clarkston Improvement Company Records, 1890-1920.” The reception, held in the Holland Library Atrium at 4:00 p.m., April 4, 2012, will include brief remarks by the student curators after which visitors will be welcome to view the exhibit.
GCPIS is a two-semester course open to undergraduate and graduate students focused on in-depth readings and projects about the Greater Columbia Plateau. The exhibit is one result of their research and work. The Greater Columbia Plateau Initiative has been generously supported by the CLA Berry Family Fellowship, the Department of History Pettyjohn Endowed Fund, and Manuscripts, Archives, and Special Collections.
