Drugs are extremely beneficial; however, in some instances they can cause side effects or downright cause harm. This presentation will offer tips and suggestions on how to get the most benefit from your drugs while minimizing side effects and harm.
Reaching out to the vulnerable, the Washington State University College of Pharmacy Geriatric Team uses an interpersonal, hands-on approach directed by Dr. Steve Setter. As a geriatric pharmacist and associate professor, Dr. Setter consults with community social workers to help home-based elders successfully use their medications and attend to medical and social needs in order to remain in their homes for longer periods of time.
