PULLMAN, Wash. Washington State University communication faculty representing the Murrow Center for Media and Health Promotion will host a town hall about the potential effects of state liquor licensing Initiative 1183 on the college-student population at 4 p.m. Tuesday, April 17, in the CUB Lair. Panelists will include: Mary Segawa, Alcohol Awareness Program manager for the Washington State Liquor Control Board; John McMullan, WSU Interfraternity Council president; Sigrid Gauger, Community Outreach and Prevention coordinator, Palouse River Counseling; Gary Jenkins, Pullman chief of police; and Erica Austin, professor and director, Murrow Center. Glenn Johnson will moderate. The event is sponsored in part by the federal Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration.
