On the weekend of January 21 22, the contractor for the Stadium Press Box Construction Project will be assembling and erecting the construction tower crane. To accommodate this work, Wilson Road will be completely closed to all vehicular traffic from 6:00 a.m. on Friday, January 20th to 6:00pm on Monday, January 23rd.
Those vehicles with necessary business at the CUB will be redirected to alternate access routes. These routes will include large delivery trucks entering the core of campus at the bus stop at Thatuna and Campus Avenue. This traffic will travel on the Library Road Mall and on the Glenn Terrell Friendship Mall to and from the turn-around at the top of Wilson Road. Please use caution when these vehicles are present, and respect and follow all traffic control signs and personnel.
Pedestrian traffic on Wilson Road will be rerouted through the Fine Arts Courtyard and around the south side of the Safety Building. An ADA accessible pedestrian route will be provided and clearly marked. For your own safety, please follow the pathways provided and respect and follow all traffic signs and personnel.
